C is for Children
Sad to say I’ve not done much gaming with my kids, though they’re definitely interested. Fortunately for me, NewbieDM created rpgKids, which I picked up about a month ago and hope to use to rectify this shortcoming.
rpgKids is a very basic fantasy based role-playing game meant to help parents and children share the role-playing experience. The rules are simple so there’s not much to track, letting you focus on having fun rather than taking a lot of time explaining complex rules to them.
The initial adventure theme works very well for kids as well, as the characters have to stop the evil wizard from turning everyone into frogs. Hope to get a chance to run this for the kids in the very near future.
I have never heard of this. Sounds like a cute game! Blessings, Joanne
